Maje founder

Judith Milgrom is the Maje founder, with her brother Alain beside her as co-founder. Maje is a womenswear label founded in 1998 to give women a wardrobe that makes them feel feminine everywhere and at all times. The name joins four initials: M for Moyal, her maiden name, A for Alain, J for Judith and E for her sister Evelyne. The house says it celebrates a radiant and confident femininity.

Maje is pronounced "Mahj", the French way, not "Mayje". The name comes from four family initials rather than a French word.
