Consigned Sealed Delivered is leading the way in authenticated luxury consignment. Founded in 2021, CSD is growing fast and fundamentally changing the way people buy and sell luxury goods by making designer resale affordable, accessible and attainable.

At CSD, we care deeply about luxury fashion. From used Gucci to vintage Chanel, we hand select only the most sought-after used designer clothing, taking steps to ensure the legitimacy of all our garments. The CSD Quality Control team inspects each luxury consignment item to ensure only legitimate and high-quality garments are sold on our website or in our Marylebone Lane designer consignment shop. And, for at-risk and high value items, we take the additional step of employing the Real Authentication’s Smart Database Scan technology and authentication specialists for further review.

Job Description:

As a Luxury Retail Floor Manager at CSD, you will play a pivotal role in leading one of our prestigious retail stores. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of the store, maintain its impeccable presentation, and lead your team to exceed sales targets while providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

         Sales Leadership:

  • Drive sales through personal example and by coaching the sales team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement and achieve sales targets.
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and adaptation to the trends of luxury fashion.
  • Act as a role model in sales excellence, leveraging your deep understanding of luxury fashion trends to guide the sales team toward outstanding results
  • Lead by example by delivery high sales yourself on the shop floor

     Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, item transfers between locations, and fulfilment of online orders. Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, maintaining the highest standards of operation.
  • Ensure policies, standards and procedures are communicated and implemented.
  • Contribute to Loss Prevention in all areas of the business, set expectations, own training for the store team and be accountable for inventory management
  • Capitalise on all available support from other departments as needed to implement projects and solve problems

     Team Management and Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the store's sales team. Aid the Regional Manager in the training of new staff, and facilitate training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Manage and motivate the team to drive the business: create a positive work environment, empower the team, encourage innovative solutions
  • Organise the team in an efficient manner according to store needs and delegate responsibility
  • Translate strategic goals into concrete and individual actions and objectives to meet key KPI’s and store targets
  • Set achievable yet challenging team and individual targets for the store; assess, monitor and manage performance to ensure these goals are achieved
  • Own Reviews, development plans and corrective action for the team
  • Grant the right level of coaching and development to all team members to develop their skills and qualities by managing their performance, providing feedback and fostering their motivation.
  • Host team training to enhance luxury product knowledge, sales techniques and team engagement
  • Role model on selling, lead by example on the floor, understand the customer needs, identify potential areas of improvement and cultivate a luxury service that aligns with the brand

     Client and Business Development:

  • Be the voice of the store by understanding business and local market trends to suggest actions and recommendations
  • Build a loyal personal clientele and establish a client-centric mindset in store to ensure the highest level of customer experience
  • Lead and develop the business of the store, by cultivating a comprehensive and strategic understanding of it
  • Uphold exceptional standards of customer service. Build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and consignors, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost attention to detail and professionalism.

     Store Presentation:

  • Lead visual merchandising presentation and standards utilising retail and product knowledge to regularly strategise for the customer experience and productivity of the store.
  • Regularly assess the store’s presentation and organisation. Implement visual merchandising strategies to maximise sales and ensure the store environment reflects the luxury and exclusivity of the CSD brand.

     Reporting:

  • Provide comprehensive reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational efficiency to the Regional Manager. Use insights to propose initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Provide real-time and weekly feedback on product and sales performance to regional manager to influence inventory allocation and the success of the business

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in luxury retail sales and management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional knowledge of luxury fashion brands and trends.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in retail management systems and MS Office.
  • Flexibility in schedule, including the ability to work weekends, holidays, and special sale events.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fulfillment and Distribution Manager to oversee the efficient processing and delivery of customer orders for our luxury consignment company based in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing order fulfillment, resolving issues, coordinating transportation between our office and retail locations, and ensuring seamless logistics operations. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners. This role will work in close collaboration with their counterpart in the Italian CSD office which will be opened in mid-2024.

 

Key Responsibilities:

         Order Fulfillment:

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with relevant store personnel to locate inventory and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Send shipping instructions to the appropriate parties for timely dispatch.

     Issue Resolution:

  • Investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to order fulfillment promptly and effectively.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

     Courier Management:

  • Liaise with courier companies such as Royal Mail and DHL to schedule pickups, track shipments, and manage delivery logistics.
  • Monitor service levels and address any issues or delays with shipping partners.

     Inventory Transportation:

  • Organize and oversee the transportation of inventory between our office and retail locations.
  • Coordinate regular shipments to ensure adequate stock levels at each store, with a frequency of twice weekly.

     Marketplace Support:

  • Collaborate with customer support teams of third-party marketplace partners to address fulfillment issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with marketplace representatives to streamline communication and problem-solving processes.

     Product Maintenance:

  • Manage the dry cleaning and repair processes for consigned products as needed, ensuring they meet quality standards before shipment or display.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.

     Storage and Organization:

  • Supervise the storage of products in the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and efficient use of space.  Implement systems for easy retrieval and accurate picking of items, considering factors such as size, seasonality, and popularity.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the warehouse operations, including proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage or defects.  Implement procedures for handling delicate or high-value items with care.

     Operational Efficiency:

  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize errors. Continuously look for opportunities to improve workflow and reduce costs.

     Returns Management:

  • Organize and oversee the return of consigned products to their original owners when necessary, ensuring smooth and efficient processing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-6 years of experience in fulfillment and distribution management, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations, particularly in handling fashion products.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines.

Luxury Advisor

Consigned Sealed Delivered (CSD) is a curated online consignment platform for buying and selling pre-owned luxury designer clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories and jewellery. While we consciously extend the lifecycle of luxury designer fashion, we pride ourselves on creating the same shopping experience for pre-loved as buying something brand new.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our team. As Sales Assistant, you will focus on, but not limited to, assisting in the management of our Marylebone store front.

LOCATION - Marylebone, London

Contract - Full time

Responsibilities:

  • To provide exceptional customer service at all times and maintain a high level of approach and conversation at all times
  • Develop customer relationships and maintain an active customer base
  • Strive to increase and overachieve in sales and store targets
  • Monitor sales performance
  • Ensure that the shop floor is fully operational for daily service and later packed away as necessary at the end of the day
  • Stay up to date with all product knowledge
  • Replenish stock levels when needed to maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensure that all customers are dealt with professionally and in line with company standards and procedures
  • Undertake daily administrative activities such as cashing in, making sure stock updates are reflected across the board

Quality Control & Pricing/Authentication Specialist

While we consciously extend the lifecycle of luxury designer fashion, we pride ourselves on creating the same shopping experience for pre-loved as buying something brand new.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control & Pricing/Authentication Specialist to join our team. You will focus on, but not be limited to, the quality control assessment of all incoming stock, product pricing research as well as client relations via phone calls and emails at our Head Office.

LOCATION - Battersea, London
Starting Date - Immediate
Contract - Full time
Annual Income - £25,000

Responsibilities:

  • Valuation/Pricing of luxury goods through market research and second hand market values.
  • Documenting product retail prices and official names/colours/leathers of the products.
  • Assessing and describing the condition of all items that have passed CSD quality control standards.
  • Assist customers with all lines of enquiry which will include, but are not limited to, product queries, returns, deliveries, payments and more.
  • Act as the customer advocate within the business, escalating issues and providing customer feedback to the relevant teams.
  • Assist in the photography documentation process for products in need of authentication.
  • Ensure that all items that fail to meet quality control standards are either returned to consignors, or sent to dry-cleaning/repairs to meet conditioning expectations.

Requirements:

  • BA in a fashion-related degree with excellent knowledge of the luxury fashion market, New and Second Hand.
  • Fluency in English
  • At least two years' similar role experience.
  • Passion for sustainable/luxury/pre-loved fashion.
  • Organisation skills and are efficient with proven ability to work to stringent deadlines.
