Who owns ME+EM?

ME+EM is a fashion brand founded in 2009 by Clare Hornby, who runs it as Founder and CEO. In her founding story she puts it simply: "There are no compromises to be made". The house's own editorial, introducing her interview with The Daily Telegraph, calls her the woman who reinvented midlife dressing.

ME+EM dresses, trousers, jackets and coats

ME+EM dresses sold at CSD have ranged from floral midi dresses to tiered maxi dresses in denim or corduroy and a broderie anglaise shirt dress. The trousers lean towards wide leg tailoring in navy or pinstripe, with corduroy and cargo pairs as well. ME+EM jackets here have mainly been tailored blazers in tweed, velvet or check. ME+EM jumpsuit

The ME+EM jumpsuit sold at CSD has mainly been a belted style, in khaki, purple velvet, blue or black. Our jumpsuits page sets them beside other designers. For layering, ME+EM knitwear here has included V neck jumpers and cashmere cardigans, and the knitwear page has more.

ME+EM cheesecloth dress

Cheesecloth is a fabric ME+EM gives a whole edit to: a double-gauze cotton with a naturally textured surface, light and breathable, that needs no ironing. The edit runs from an ME+EM cheesecloth blouse to lightweight maxi dresses, with wide-leg trousers, relaxed shirts and shorts in the same cloth.

Buying ME+EM used gets you the label's dresses and tailoring for less than they cost new. ME+EM sizing follows UK sizes, and each listing gives the ME+EM UK size, the condition and the label. When is the sale for ME+EM?

At CSD there is no ME+EM sale date to wait for, because every card already sets the estimated retail price against what you pay. If you are after ME+EM outlet or ME+EM sale UK prices, every card shows the estimated retail price and your saving against it, whenever you shop. ME+EM dresses show their saving the same way, and our women's sale page does it for other designers.

Is ME+EM good quality?

Not a verdict we give for the whole label, but every ME+EM piece we list is checked in-house and its condition is written on the listing. Our quality control page explains what the team looks at before anything goes online.

Sell your ME+EM on consignment

Have ME+EM pieces you no longer wear? Bring them to our Marylebone Lane store or send them in by post, and we email a quote within two to seven working days. You then have seven days to accept it, and the payout is up to 85% when your pieces sell. Larger collections in London can book our White Glove Pickup instead. Each piece is consigned, so we sell it for you and your share is paid when a buyer has bought it.

ME+EM second hand: fit, sizes and where to buy

ME+EM is sized in UK sizes, and the ME+EM clothes we have listed over time have run from UK 4 to UK 16, with UK 6 to UK 12 the most common in dresses. Each listing gives the UK size with its US, FR and IT conversions. The dresses have been mostly midi and maxi lengths, often floral prints, in polyester, cotton and viscose, with some linen, silk and cashmere. CSD is not an official ME+EM stockist: this is ME+EM resale, and every piece is a single pre-owned or never-worn item, authenticated in-house, with free UK delivery over £300, free US delivery over $400 and 14-day returns on online orders.
