CONSIGNED SEALED DELIVERED (CSD) RETURN POLICY
QUICK, EASY & HASSLE-FREE RETURNS.
CSD understands that occasionally you may need to return an item and we aim to make this process as simple as possible for you. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can always return it. Returns that do not comply with our policy will not be accepted. Please be sure to read our Returns Policy thoroughly before submitting your return. Refunds or exchanges must be returned within 14 days of receiving the item, the first day being the day of purchase (for in-store orders), or delivery or pick-up date (for online orders).
Returns Policy:
Returns of items purchased online are eligible to be returned for refund or store credit within 14 days of the delivery or pick-up date. To learn more about refunds click here
Returns of items purchased in-store are eligible to be returned for store credit only within 14 days of the purchase date.
Orders of items sold for £3000 or more can only be returned for store credit regardless of whether purchased online or in-store.

At CSD, we are passionate about investing in quality pieces that will last a lifetime. Whether you’re looking for vintage Chanel, used Hermès, used designer shoes, used designer clothes, pre-owned designer evening gowns or any luxury consignment item, it’s important to CSD that all aspects of your designer resale shopping experience are as sustainable as possible. This benefits our customers, our people, and our planet.
OPTION 1: RETURN AN ITEM IN-STORE
CSD is pleased to offer its customers free-returns in-store. While you are in the 14 day return window from the date of delivery or purchase, you can take your item to any of CSD’s 3 London retail stores and advise the luxury advisor there that you’d like to return an item. Please come prepared with your order number and receipt.
If the item being returned was purchased in-store, the return for store credit will be deposited at the time of return.
If the item being returned was purchased online, then the refund (if applicable) will be issued within 7 working days but timelines can vary depending on payment method, and if being returned for store credit then the amount will be deposited into your CSD account within 2 working day.
OPTION 2: REQUEST A RETURN ONLINE
PLACED AN ORDER AS A GUEST?
If you aren’t registered on CSD.Shop, you can arrange a return here. Simply enter your order number (starts with AM-SH-XXXX) and zipcode/postcode and follow the steps.
PLACED AN ORDER FROM A CSD ACCOUNT?
- Login to your CSD.Shop account. Here
- Go to your Purchases page and click the order number that contains the item(s) you would like to return.
- In your selected Order Summary, click Return next to all items you would like to return.
- Fill out and submit the requested return information and submit return request.
- You will also receive a confirmation email with a summary of your return request, shipping instructions and a shipping label you may print and return charges will be deducted when your item is processed.
- Place each item you're returning with any designer boxes or cases that came with your order inside the CSD packaging.
- Prepare your package by attaching your Return Label and Return Note to the outside of your CSD packaging. Make sure the Return Label is visible as this will need to be scanned by the courier.
- Give the Waybill Doc to the courier. To track the return of your order, make a note of the Waybill Number.
HAVING TROUBLE? EMAIL SUPPORT
- Contact us through email at Support@csd.shop within five days of receiving your order. Please state the order number in the subject and the reason for the return.
- CSD will send you a pre-paid shipping voucher for the return.
- Print out the provided return label and attach it to the box. Please note that items must be returned through our Shipping partners. You will have three working days to organise a pickup with our Shipping partners, or CSD can schedule a collection at your convenience.
- Dispatch the return at any Shipping providers access points.
- Upon receipt of the return at CSD, we require five working days to carry out all of the necessary quality checks on the item. Then the money will be refunded to you.
Return at a drop-off point:
Our service gives you the flexibility to return your online order at some courier drop-off points near you. Prepare your package with the shipping labels provided. Take the return shipment to our shipping partner drop off point and CSD does the rest for you.
CSD recommends you ask the courier to scan your package when they collect your return. This will make sure your return is tracked.
Upon receipt by CSD, your return will be thoroughly checked by our sales team and an authentication supervisor. If the security tag remains fully attached and the condition is the same as it was at the point of sale, the return can be accepted. If these requirements are not met, the item can be returned to the buyer at the buyers' expense. Alternatively, the item can be sold once again through CSD.Shop on behalf of the buyer.
All returns must meet the following requirements for processing:
- All items must be returned to CSD with their security tag attached, if the security tag has been removed or displays signs of being tampered with then the item will not be eligible for Returns.
- Returned products must be in the same condition they were when shipped to you. Returned products must be unworn, unwashed, unironed, unused, and undamaged with all tags still attached and in the original packaging. For hygiene purposes, no refunds or exchanges will be given for products which have perfume, makeup, body odours, or cigarette smoke on them.
- Products must be returned with their original tag(s) and label(s) still attached. If any tag(s) or label(s) are removed from the item, the return will not be accepted.
- All returns must include the dust bag, brand box, shoebox, and all original packaging (as applicable) as these items are considered part of the product.
- All returns must be shipped to CSD or brought to a CSD store within 14 days of the package delivery date.
- Returns must be shipped from the same country as the original shipping address. You may not ship the order to one country and then return it from an address outside that country.
- If you refuse delivery for any reason, then you are responsible for the contents of that order and will not be eligible for a full refund by CSD
- CSD does not accept returns for underwear, lingerie, bathing suits, swimwear, bodysuits, headbands, hats, earrings, or jewellery.
- Please note that all shoes should be tried on inside on a carpeted surface; be mindful not to scratch the soles or damage the shoebox (which is considered part of the product). Worn shoes will not be eligible for return.
- CSD monitors the number of returns made by each customer. Our team may flag any return and refuse it at our discretion. Excessive returns may lead to the closure of your CSD account.
- Remember, you're importing luxury goods directly from the United Kingdom, so your returns are processed through UK customs. This process typically requires additional shipping costs, customs duties, and courier charges, so CSD doesn't offer free returns for any international orders. You will be responsible for the shipping costs, customs duties, and courier charges if you return internationally.
- When browsing the website, colours can appear as a slightly different shade on your display depending on your computer monitor, mobile device, or tablet. CSD always tries to display colours as accurately as possible but CSD cannot guarantee colours.
The following shipping and processing fees will be deducted from the amount refunded or deposited as store credit into your CSD Account:

This includes our comprehensive insurance cover and is purely for the protection of our buyers.
FAULTY ITEMS
Our aim is that every CSD item arrives in excellent condition and CSD hopes you're always thrilled with your purchase. If you receive an item in a flawed or damaged condition, or if it doesn't quite match the description on our site, please contact CSD customer service by emailing customercare@csd.shop or calling +44 20 7720 2000 as soon as possible. CSD will arrange a return and process a full refund for the defective item.
EXCHANGES
Exchanges are treated as returns. If you would like to exchange an item for something else, you will need to return the original item first. You will then need to place another order for the new item you wish to purchase.
If you exchange an item in-store, the value of the item being returned can be deducted from the amount owing on the time item being purchased at the point of sale.
PREVENT RETURNS ABUSE
If you abuse CSD's return policy, you will be banned from future use of our shopping platform. CSD takes returns very seriously, and it uses a number of advanced software solutions such as Klarna, Laybuy, PayPal, Stripe, VISA, and Master Card Secured to manage its returns. Such solutions can detect fraudulent returns and ban shoppers from future online purchases on CSD.Shop and other platforms.
PROMOTIONS POLICY
From time to time, certain items are offered for sale on CSD.Shop. Some of CSD’s promotions or listings involve retail price comparisons or comparable value comparisons. CSD investigates prices at which such merchandise is being offered by the representative retail outlets in one or more areas where our customers are based. This allows us to be reasonably sure that the price CSD advertises is fairly compared with the price at which substantial sales of any such article are being made in one or more areas where our customers are based. Whenever CSD advertises discounts off retail prices (MSRP) that have been established or other non-retail distributors, CSD promotes a list price honestly, in good faith and, to the extent possible, CSD publishes the specific MSRP or its source.
PRICE ADJUSTMENT
At CSD, you are shopping for items supplied by our consignors worldwide. The items are expertly curated by our team and the prices of goods are determined by CSD. Prices are frequently updated by our team and may be subject to adjustments.
PAYMENT TRANSACTION FEES POLICY
Kindly note that starting from October 2019, PayPal and Credit card will no longer reimburse the 5% original transaction fee. This will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Starting from 1st May 2020, all credit card transaction fees (3%) will no longer be reimbursed for all return orders.
